Two lanyard clips. A hot pink pocket knife. A roll of twine. Sheets with lists of people, places, work to do, places to be, failed assignments, unfinished assignments, equations, job applications. A stack of reciepts from this past week. Empty perscription bottles. Undeveloped photo reels. A video camera covered in dust.

A list of people who used to have some kind of expectations from me. It's like an obitiuary. A stack of closed books. A room of closed doors. Closed blinds, just a flick of the wrist, and they'd open. Can't do that. Empty canvases and empty notebooks. A big bottle and a small bag of weed. Two days and three big tests. It all boils down to one test. Everything depends on one test. A white lighter and a half full pack of menthols. Got them yesterday. Half full. A white lighter. All luck's lost.
